About the Club

Established in 2005, the Entrepreneurship Cell of NIT Trichy is a non-profit, student-run organization dedicated to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and incubating ideas into startups through our events, programs, and initiatives in the NIT Trichy campus and beyond.

Events Conducted

Headstart ‘21

Headstart is a new initiative launched by E-Cell NITT which serves as a pre-incubation initiative where startup ideas in various stages and fields are accepted, mentored, and developed till the incubation stage. Ideas that are already well developed are later mentored by seasoned NITT alumni entrepreneurs!

Ventura

Ventura is an annual international business model competition held annually by the E-Cell, NIT Trichy. It is the largest in South India with startups participating from across the world. Ventura helps people realize their entrepreneurial dreams by providing an ideal platform for budding and future entrepreneurs to learn, ideate, and grow.

E-SUMMIT

Entrepreneurship Summit is a 3-day entrepreneurial fest conducted by the Entrepreneurship Cell of NIT Trichy. With events, workshops, and guest lectures, this is South India's largest Entrepreneurial fest.

Induction Process

The induction process usually starts at the end of the 1st year or by the beginning of the 2nd year for B.Tech undergraduates. The process goes on for a month and the applicants will make their own B-models, conduct customer interviews and few more basic entrepreneurial tasks!
